Lois Ann Bowerman
October 15, 1941 – July 9, 2021
Lois Ann Bowerman - a resident of Kenora, Ontario passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the age of 79 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
Lois is survived by her spouse Joe Delorme of Kenora, Ontario, her daughter Tammy White (Bob) of Shelbourne, Ontario, granddaughters Terri-Lee White (Scott), Ashley White (Brandon) from New Liskeard, Ontario. She is also survived by her 3 great grandsons, Cameron White, Stewart and Jack Robertson, brother Louie (Audrey) of New Liskeard, Ontario and her sister Holly, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
She was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Margaret Hill, her sons Clayton White and Gordon Leverre, her brother Bill Broderick, sister-in-law Marian Broderick, her 1st husband Walter Bowerman and her partner Ivor Hulmes.
Lois moved to Kenora when she married Walter, she was employed full time at Birchwood Terrace Nursing Home for many years as a Nurses Aid.
Mom always loved the outdoors, she enjoyed hiking, fishing, partridge hunting, she had a great sense of humour. When Mom met Joe, they both enjoyed going to the common room where others met for Tea, they enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, Mom and Joe enjoyed going to Winnipeg to the Casino. Mom lived a very fun-filled and eventful life and enjoyed every bit of it until she became ill.
A Come and Go Celebration of Life for Lois will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 1:00 until 3:00 at the common room at Gardner House. All COVID protocols and social distancing rules apply.
