Christian artist Josh Wilson is releasing 24 songs in 2024 and each one shares a part of his own mental health struggle and journey back to life.

The first track 'It Gets Better' was released on February 23.

"I’ve struggled for many years with anxiety and panic attacks, and more recently with depression," says Wilson on social media. "Until 2017, I self-medicated my anxiety with alcohol and eventually became addicted. By the grace of God (and with the help of family, friends, and therapy) I’m almost 7 years sober now."

Wilson has been slowly sharing his journey through anxiety, depression, and alcoholism, saying for the past two years he's spent a lot of time in prayer and therapy.

"I’ll talk a lot about this song over the next few weeks, but the short story is that whether it’s in this life or the next, it’s going to get better. I love the quote, 'It all works out in the end. If it hasn’t worked out, it’s just not the end.' Jesus loves you and so do I."

The album Mental Help is set to be released in May this year and includes a song titled 'Jesus and Therapy.'
