For the second time in four weeks, Broncos goaltender Reid Dyck has been named the WHL’s Goaltender of the Week after an undefeated week in the Broncos crease.
In three games this week, Dyck was 3-0-0-0, with a 1.99 goals-against-average, and a .924 save percentage. Through two wins over Medicine Hat on the weekend, and a Family Day win over Moose Jaw on Monday, Dyck stopped a total of 74 shots, while only allowing six goals.
Since an overtime loss to Saskatoon on January 28, Dyck has started 11 of 12 games for the Broncos, going 10-0-1-0 with a 1.64 goals-against-average, and a .938 save percentage, and two shutouts.
On the season, Dyck is now up to a 19-6-2-0 record, a .915 save percentage, and a 2.59 goals-against-average in 28 appearances this season.
The Broncos hit the road this weekend to take on Red Deer and Edmonton on Friday and Saturday.
