The defence lawyer for a 46-year-old Assiniboia man accused of sexual assault was adjourned to March 26 during Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Tuesday.

Legal Aid lawyer Suzanne Lalonde appeared on the man’s behalf and asked for an adjournment because there was incomplete disclosure. Crown prosecutor Monique Paquin agreed to the adjournment.

Disclosure is the evidence that the Crown intends to use against the accused. By law, the Crown must supply a copy to the defence.

The man, who cannot be named under a publication ban, is accused of sexually assaulting three boys under 12 years of age at a home-based daycare during the mid-2010s.

The man was arrested on Nov. 27 after RCMP executed a search warrant at the home-based daycare.

The man is facing three counts of sexual assault, three counts of sexual interference, two counts of inviting sexual touching to a minor, three counts of making sexually explicit material available to a minor, one count of possession of child pornography and one count of voyeurism.
