RCMP tight-lipped on Friday's police presence

An incident at the Silver Saddle Suites in Swift Current on Friday drew a large gathering of RCMP members and onlookers.

Saskatchewan RCMP shared at 3:30 p.m. today that they were executing a search warrant at the building situated along 21st Avenue Northeast.

Some firsthand reports have indicated multiple people involved in the incident were taken into custody during the afternoon.

Swift Current Online has spoken with the Swift Current City RCMP and the Saskatchewan RCMP with neither being able to provide many details at the moment.

The Saskatchewan RCMP did say they're continuing their investigation.
