A big congratulations goes out to the Dinsmore Composite Senior Curling teams.

The teams started their seasons at the beginning of January. On Feb. 9/10, the teams travelled to Kyle to play in the West Central District curling championships.

The girls' team of Dezarae, Darling, Alexis and Francheska finished second in the district winning a silver medal. The team then played in the SHSAA Regional Championships in Regina on Friday and Saturday (Mar. 1/2).

They had two very exciting games and gained valuable experience.

The mixed team of Abigail, Brayden, Jesse, Hunter and Casey Somerville won the District championship in Kyle winning all three of their games. The team then played in the SHSAA Regional Championships in Regina on Mar. 1/2. The team played five games in two days. They won three of the games and made it to the B final.

And one last shout out to our graduating curler, Abigail Friesen, thank you for your positive attitude and great shot making throughout the season.

Mr. Morrison would like to thank all the players for their hard work, determination, and dedication, as well as the parents for their support throughout the season. It was a great season.
