A 50-year-old man from Red Deer has died after a collision North of Airdrie. Olds RCMP responded to a collision between two semi trucks on Highway 791 and Highway 27 earlier this morning.
Police said that the initial investigation indicates that the deceased man's semi-truck was travelling Southbound on Highway 791 when it failed to stop at the intersection with Highway 27 and was struck by a Westbound semi.
"The driver of the other semi was treated on scene by EMS and released," police said.
