It’s a busy weekend coming up for local sports enthusiasts and those who chronicle the accomplishments of our home-grown heroes. The Humboldt and District Museum welcomes some recipients of this year's 2024 Sports Hall of Fame induction for a meet and greet on Saturday, April 6.
Michael Suchan, Lyndon Rush, Brianne Theisen-Eaton and Jocelyne Moe will be on hand. Meet them, get their autographs, ask questions, and enjoy some refreshments as you check out the Museum’s latest exhibit about their extraordinary accomplishments.
The new exhibit at the Museum Home Grown: Celebrating the 2024 Humboldt & District Sports Hall of Fame Inductees, will feature stories about the sporting journeys of Michael Suchan, Lyndon Rush, Brianne Theisen-Eaton, Jocelyne Moe, and Ryan Schedlosky.
Patrons can view photos and memorabilia from their unique sports careers and celebrate their achievements within the community and on the world stage. Visit the permanent home of the Humboldt Sports Hall of Fame on the second floor of the Museum to see Glenn Hall’s jersey, Humboldt’s most famous hockey trophy the Platzer Cup, the original “Zamboni” from the Leo Parker arena, and much more.
