Get set for more creative fun at the Humboldt and District Gallery this week with a pair of opportunities to learn, participate and have fun.
First of all on Thursday night, May 9 from 6:30 – 9:00 pm. Kayla Hanson returns for a workshop on watercolour painting. It’s a great introduction to the colour and components of creating art in a “fluid” medium.
The workshop costs $20 per person. All supplies are included, and no experience is necessary.
Then, just in time for Mother’s Day on Sunday, there is a Saturday, May 11 morning session for Mom’s and kids to make a special card and matching friendship bracelets along with a scavenger hunt. There is a special $50 gift card draw courtesy of the Friends of the Museum and Gallery.
To register for either of these events, contact the Museum and Gallery at (306) 682-5226.
