The Moose Jaw Warriors are one win away from their first ever Western Hockey League Championship after beating the Portland Winterhawks 4-3 in overtime in Game 3 last night!

Brayden Schuurman got the game-winning goal just 2 minutes and 20 seconds into extra time.

The Warriors, with a 3-0 lead, could win it all tonight at the Moose Jaw Events Centre - puck drop is 8 p.m.

At the World Hockey Championship, Canada won a 3rd straight game to start the tournament, beating Austria 7-6 in overtime. Canada next takes on Finland on Saturday.

At gymnastics provincials in Saskatoon, Moose Jaw's Olivia Cameron was named provincial champion under the Xcel Gold Age Group 10.4 - 11.7.

As Stanley Cup Playoffs continue, the Edmonton Oilers beat Vancouver 3-2, evening that series at two wins apiece and, the Boston Bruins are still in it, beating the Florida Panthers 2-1 last night in Game 5. The Panthers have a 3-2 lead. 

The Blue Jays and Orioles were rained-out in Baltimore.
