Her initiatives, such as the "grand-buddies" program with a local seniors' home and the "kindness ninjas" project, foster a sense of community and empathy among her students, demonstrating the profound impact of her teaching philosophy.
The awards celebrate excellence in various categories, including Teaching Excellence, Teaching Excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), and Excellence in Early Childhood Education.
