Registration closes on Sunday, June 30 for the Eastlink Centre Triathlon, taking place on Sunday, July 7.
“We are looking forward to this year’s Eastlink Centre Triathlon being the greatest turnout yet,” said City of Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. “There are less than 50 spots left, so make sure you register before the deadline to make unforgettable memories at this year’s triathlon.”
It is the last week to secure a spot in one of the various race categories, including try-a-tri, sprint, team sprint and Kids of Steel for children aged 13 and under. Register as an athlete now to participate and receive:
- A free carb load dinner for athletes on Saturday, July 6 sponsored by Red Rock Urban BBQ.
- Free bike safety check and special offers from Ernie’s Sporting Goods for the week before the triathlon.
- Finisher medal.
- Branded cup.
- Prize packs for the winner of each Eastlink Centre Triathlon category.

Volunteer opportunities
The City is still recruiting volunteers to support various event day duties at the Eastlink Centre Triathlon. Volunteers receive a free t-shirt and start the day with free breakfast.
