Dawson Creek and Fort St. John issued special weather statement

Heavy rain is expected at times today in the B.C. Peace River region.

A frontal system will slowly move from the Fort Nelson region towards the Peace River region today. Rain, heavy at times, is forecast with this system.

Rainfall amounts of 20 to 30 mm, with locally higher amounts possible, are expected before the rain eases this evening.
