Grande Prairie RCMP have notified the public that the area is now clear.

Grande Prairie RCMP are currently on scene redirecting traffic on Lakeland Drive between 95 Street and 123 Avenue in Grande Prairie due to a gas leak. City crews are working on repairs, which are expected to take about 2 hours.

An update will be provided once the situation is resolved and police have cleared the area.
