Veterans Memorial Gardens & Interpretive Centre is a unique venue in the Hillside community of Grande Prairie.
Built on land donated by the Army, Navy & Airforce Veterans in Canada Unit 389, this half-acre oasis is owned and operated by the Canadian Motorcycle Tourism Association, an Alberta non-profit society.
The gardens officially opened on June 5th, 2022, the Veterans Memorial Gardens & Interpretive Centre showcases the stories of regional soldiers, veterans, and their families. It hosts community, corporate, and family events, as well as field trips, and invites visitors of all ages to explore the military history of Northwestern Alberta.
Stop by this summer and enjoy the canteen as well. All are welcome, and it's a great place to bring visitors to our city.
Join them on July 21, from 11 AM to 5 PM, for a family-friendly Christmas in July event featuring music, games, and a BBQ.
The first 200 kids will receive free candy bags and hot dogs. Take part in the gnome contest too!
