The Regina Red Sox came from behind and beat the Moose Jaw Miller Express 6-3 in Western Canadian Baseball League action last night. The Millers are at home tonight, playing the Weyburn Beavers at Ross Wells. The Beavers are 8-27 this season, sitting in last place in the East Division.
In Rambler Park Fastball tonight, the Moose Jaw Giants and the Moose Jaw Canadians are both at Rambler Park. The Giants play Standing Buffalo at 6:45, and it’s the Canadians against the Renegades starting at 8:45.
The Moose Jaw Canucks AAA 18U won both games in their double header against the Swift Current Kal Tire 57s last night - both games ended with scores of 6-2. The Canucks next have a double header against the Z7 Sun Devils in Meadow Lake on Saturday.
The Moose Jaw AAA 15U defeated the Regina Wolf Pack 15-14 yesterday. Their next game isn’t until Tuesday, when they face the Regina White Sox.
In Major League Baseball, the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Giants 10-6.
In the CFL tonight, it’s the Argonauts versus the Alouettes.
And, Robert Church of the Saskatchewan Rush has made the Team Canada roster for the 2024 World Box Lacrosse Championship in September. That tournament will take place in Utica, New York.
