Biggar RCMP opened investigation into 26 recent reports. A pair of arrests headlined the July 15 list.

"43-year-old Lyle Silbernagel was arrested and charged for assault and on another unrelated incident, 36-year-old David Montgomery was arrested and charged with assault. Both individuals will be appearing in Biggar Provincial Court September 4th on their matters."

A pair of highway incidents members had to respond to saw a small SUV running off the road after striking a deer, and another vehicle running through a barbed wire fence. Complaints were received regarding a speeding semi and gravel trucks on Range Road 3120.

Other calls, wandering cats caused for an ownership dispute. More trouble down by the railroad saw CN reporting intoxicated teenagers on the tracks during early morning hours. The guilty party were breaking their curfew, and the parents were notified.

This list came during what was a lighter week for road enforcement in the area. Traffic services were assisting down at Craven for Country Thunder Saskatchewan, as only four tickets/warnings handed out during the week.

Impaired driving check stops around the music festival resulted in "38 individuals receiving roadside driver’s license suspensions due to alcohol or drug impairment" across Saturday and Sunday, three of those individuals facing criminal charges.
