Single-vehicle rollover in Grande Prairie results in fatality

An accident in Grande Prairie on Tuesday resulted in the death of one person.

RCMP reported that at around 11:20 a.m. on July 16th, a single-vehicle rollover occurred at the intersection of 102nd Street and 116th Avenue.

The vehicle was traveling in the wrong direction in the westbound lane, hit the median on 102nd Street, became airborne, and landed upside down after hitting the opposite curb.

Police are still investigating.
