Jeremy Camp recently released a new version of his song 'Ready Now,' featuring Christian rap artist Lecrae.
"‘Ready Now’ is my declaration of surrender without reservation. It’s about being prepared to let go of all control, to break free from fears and chains. It’s a firm commitment to surrender everything," says Camp.
The new single was released on July 19, 2024. Camp's newest album, Deeper Waters, was released with the original version of the song on May 17.
"The beauty of this song lies in its rawness, the tension it captures, and the release in the chorus. It’s about embracing the struggle of surrendering completely, acknowledging the uncertainty, and yet finding freedom once you surrender."
This year Lecrae hopped on a few singles with Christian artists, including 'I Still Believe' with For King & Country on the album for their film Unsung Hero.
Camp will be headed on tour across the U.S.A. for the Deeper Water Tour starting in St. Louis, MO, on September 12.
