New road project gets underway in the County of Grande Prairie

Construction on Township Road 691 between Range Road 121 and Range Road 122 began today.

The project is expected to be complete by early August, weather permitting.

Speed limits will be reduced in the construction zone. Local traffic will be allowed through the site until Friday, July 26, 2024, after which the road will be closed until the project is finished.

Motorists are urged to obey all signs and flag persons, exercise extreme caution, and allow extra travel time.
