The Alberta Health Services Screen Test program will be in Spirit River and Silver Valley to provide screening mammograms to eligible individuals aged 45-74.
A mammogram is an X-ray of the breast. Screening mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early, when treatment may work better. Getting screened for breast cancer saves lives.

A mobile mammography trailer will be at the Central Peace Health Complex (5010 45 Ave.) in Spirit River on Aug.19-23, and the Savanna Agricultural Society Rec Plex in Silver Valley on Aug. 27.
