Join Us for the Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper: Bottle Drive at Air 106.1!

Mark Your Calendars! On Wednesday, July 31st, Air 106.1 in Airdrie is proudly participating in the Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper—a province-wide initiative to support those affected by the recent Jasper Wildfire. We’re teaming up with radio stations across Alberta to make a meaningful impact, and we need your help!

Event Details

  • Date: Wednesday, July 31, 2024
  • Time: Starting at 9:00 a.m
  • Location: Air 106.1 Studios / 30-1015 Main St NW, Airdrie

How You Can Contribute:

  1. Bring Your Bottles: Drop off your empty bottles and cans at our station starting at 9am on the day of the event. We’ll have a trailer set up to collect all your donations. Every bottle counts and contributes to a brighter future for those affected by the wildfire.

  2. Bottle Depots: Can’t make it to our station? No problem! You can take your bottle donations to any bottle depot across Alberta and simply tell them, “These are for Jasper.”

  3. Monetary Donations: If you prefer to donate money: Text 20222 with the keyword RADIO (all caps) to donate $10.

Why Your Support Matters

The Jasper Wildfire has had a profound impact on the community, and your contributions will go directly to those in need through the Red Cross. Not only will your bottle and monetary donations make a significant difference, but they will also be matched—once by the Federal Government and once by the Provincial Government. That means your generosity will be effectively tripled!

Spread the Word

Help us amplify our efforts by sharing this event with your friends, family, and social networks. The more people who know about the Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper, the greater the impact we can make together.

We look forward to seeing you at Air 106.1 on July 31st! Let’s show Jasper that Alberta cares and make this bottle drive a tremendous success!
