Radio stations across Alberta, including REACH FM came together on Wednesday (July 31) to help support those impacted by the Jasper wildfire through the Canadian Red Cross.
Reach FM teamed up with Nor Lan Ram Wednesday and invited you to drop off empty bottles and cans to be donated to the Canadian Red Cross for Jasper and those affected by the wildfires. We raised approximately $1630 with the bottle donations, plus $5220 in cash contributions. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
In total, so far, $1,555,446 has been raised by all radio stations in Alberta. This includes matching donations from the federal and provincial governments.
$518,482 was raised from donations made online with the provincial and federal matching dollars bringing the total to $1,555,446.
