On the morning of August 1, 2024, the Beaverlodge RCMP responded to a report of extensive vandalism at St. Mary Catholic School. The incident, which occurred between the evening of July 31 and the morning of August 1, resulted in the destruction of over 70 windows, with damages estimated to exceed $100,000.

Despite an ongoing investigation, authorities have not yet gathered enough evidence to make any arrests. The RCMP is now appealing to the community for assistance in identifying any individuals who may have witnessed or heard something related to this act of vandalism.

"We urge anyone with information, no matter how minor it may seem, to come forward," said a spokesperson for the Beaverlodge RCMP. "Your input could be crucial in solving this incident."
