Cory asbury releases new version of 'Only Jesus For My Pain' with former lead singer of We The Kingdom

Cory Asbury has teamed up with former lead singer of We The Kingdom, Franni Rae, to release a new version of his hit song, 'Only Jesus For My Pain.'

The song, originally released in 2023, was inspired by a bad experience Cory Asbury went through while dealing with severe back pain. 

He shared the story while leading worship at a men’s correctional facility and posted it on Instagram, saying in the captions, "This one might get me cancelled (again) but the story’s worth it."

The new version of the song, which was part of his vulnerable album Pioneer, takes the single to a new level. 

"Only Jesus… I am really excited that I got to share this one with my friend," said Cory in a post on Instagram. "So grateful and honoured to be a part of this song," Franni responded.
