From frog jumping to bull riding, this weekend will be an interesting one.
Frog finding begins this evening to kick off the St-Pierre-Jolys Frog Follies and Agricultural Fair and the event will go on all weekend long.
On Friday, exhibits open for the agricultural fair at 6pm, and awards will be handed out later that evening. The comedy show begins at 7:30pm followed by a fire show once it gets dark.
Saturday is packed with lots of fun activities including a parade, children’s tent, cornhole tournament, Canadian National Frog Jumping Championships, and more!
The night will end with live entertainment and a firework show.
The weekend will be complete with lots of entertainment for the kids on Sunday. They have bouncy castles, voyageur games, and children’s frog jumping.
Richer Rough Stock Rodeo is also happening this weekend with a full schedule from Friday to Sunday.
Head to Richer to enjoy Gymkhana, bull riding, mutton busting, wild pony races, and bring the kids to enjoy the family fun zone!
Enjoy the food, the rodeo, and try the mechanical bull! Lots of fun during the day with live entertainment all evening long.

Jake Epp Library is hosting their ‘Summer Movies at the Library’. The movie ‘Elemental’ will start at 1:30pm but doors open at 1:15pm. It is free admission and free popcorn!
A.D. Penner Park will also be having ‘Steinbach Outdoor Movie in the Park’ at 8pm. Bring a lawn chair, snacks, and enjoy Kung Fu Panda 4!
