On August 10, 2024 at approximately 8:20p.m., Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a report, in the South Avondale area of the city, involving an unknown male who attempted to assault an individual with an axe and subsequently caused damaged to their property. Fortunately, no one was injured in the attack.
The suspect is described as:
- Approximately 5 feet 10 inches
- Wearing a black hat, grey sweater, black pants and black/white shoes
Your Grande Prairie RCMP are actively investigating this incident and are requesting assistance from the public in identifying the suspect.
