Lane reduction at 132 Avenue CN rail crossing for rail signal upgrades

The City of Grande Prairie is notifying the community about upcoming work at the 132 Avenue CN rail crossing. CN will be conducting essential infrastructure upgrades, leading to a temporary lane reduction.

The work begins on Wednesday, August 14 and is expected to last one day, weather depending.

Key Details:

• Location: 132 Avenue CN rail crossing between 97 Street and 99 Street.
• Lane Reduction: Traffic will be reduced from two lanes in each direction to one lane in each direction.
• Purpose of Closure: Rail signal upgrades.
