Drilling of new water source wells will continue in the Hamlet of Hythe this week.
Residents can expect to hear an increase in noise due to drilling at three different locations. Near the old pool in Hythe, near the Campground location north of the physical camp stalls, and near the Wellhouse One Water Treatment Plant location.
Drilling will begin near the pool today for 3-4 days before moving onto the next location.
Contractors will be working 7 days/week.
There is no impact to water services to residents, and no traffic impacts. Drilling to happen on County land and any directly impacted residents will be notified directly. This notice is just for caution due to possible noise from drilling.
