The weekend is coming up quickly and as you plan what you might do, check out these events going on in the southeast!
Hanover Ag - August 15 – 18
Hanover Ag presents their annual Fair this weekend starting this evening. Grounds will open at 6pm rain or shine, followed by opening ceremonies for the Hanover Ag’s Bull Riders Invitational and ‘Party in the Dirt’ at 10pm.
Head over to Grunthal on Friday for more bull riding beginning at 7pm. An outdoor movie will also be played at 9pm and the ‘Party in the Dirt’ begins at 10pm with live music.
Saturday is filled with lots of fun activities starting at 10am with the parade. The grounds and the vendor village will open at 11am. They will have a Family Fun Zone, chainsaw carving demos, a paint class, antique farm equipment display, mud bog, arm wrestling competition, and the evening will be complete with a live show from George Canyon featuring Emma Peterson and a firework show.

The weekend will end on Sunday with Community Worship at 10am, followed by a Faspa Lunch.
Smokin’ Summer Charity BBQ - Saturday, August 17
Hamm Family Events is hosting the third annual Ribb-Off in support of the Robb Nash Project. 20 teams will prepare and cook their best ribs to be judged. Tickets for the rib feast are sold out but there is still lots to enjoy that doesn’t require a ticket.
Head down to Marchand for cornhole and ladder ball. There will also be lots of activities for the kids including bouncy castles, face painting, and balloons.
Enjoy some food and live music while visiting with friends. Or chat with Robb Nash about his story and share yours.

St Malo Pontoon Parade - Saturday, August 17
If you’re camping in St Malo this weekend or want to see something unique, head over to the lake around 9:45pm and see the water light up with pontoon boats.
They are asking participants to meet between the beaches at 9pm before the parade begins.
