The gospel music group The Nelons is releasing their final album later this month after three of their members tragically died a few weeks ago, including a recently released new single.

On Friday, August 16, The Nelons released a new single 'Three Nails Instead' from their upcoming final album, Loving You

On July 26 three members from The Nelons, Kelly Nelon Clark, Jason Clark and Amber Nelon Kistler, died in a plane crash that was taking them to their next show to be performed in Alaska. In total, seven people died in the crash including the pilot, his wife, and the band's assistant, Melodi Hodges.

"This final album featuring the Nelons was completed shortly before the plane crash that claimed the lives of Nelons’ members Kelly Nelon Clark, Amber Nelon Kistler, Jason Clark, Amber’s husband, Nathan Kistler, and friends Melodi Hodges, Larry Haynie, and Melissa Haynie," says Ed Leonard, President, Daywind Music Group. "We are heartbroken and miss them dearly. The Nelons were immensely proud of this recording produced by Jason Clark, Gordon Mote, Wayne Haun, and Bill Gaither, and featuring their friends Joseph Habedank, N.T. Martin, and the Gaither Vocal Band."

Autumn Nelon Streetman, the last remaining band member, unveiled that they would be releasing the new album, Loving You, on August 30.

"Please let it minister to you as it has to us as we face the loss of these amazingly talented people who lived what they sang about every day," says Leonard.
