On Monday afternoon, motorists were taken aback when they reported that a truck had lost a part of its load. This massive construction cylinder fell onto the highway on the QEII, northbound near Airdrie.
Though police did not attend the scene, and there appeared to be no injuries, motorists reported long delays and traffic congestion.
It is unclear how the incident happened and the truck's final destination.
