Emergency crews in Kindersley were given an early call Wednesday morning. The Kindersley Fire Department was on scene in Rosedale at roughly 4:00 AM responding to a house fire that kept responders on scene for over two hours.
The blaze sparked sometime around 4:00 AM at the east corner of Rutley Crescent and Rutley Drive, leaving the house engulfed in flames as you can see in the photo below.
One witness shared that their house camera notification is what initially woke them up at approximately 4:05 AM, quickly noticing the blaze the next door. The fire was contained around 4:30 AM, as crews remained on scene through 5:00 AM, and began cleaning up their fire hoses just before 6:30.
Another witness to the situation commended the Kindersley Fire Department for their timely and precise response, saying they had a "newfound respect for firefighters" after watching the emergency protocols roll out first hand.
