Yorkton’s Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team (STRT) made a major bust, hauling in quantities of cocaine, fentanyl and methamphetamine following an extensive investigation.
An RCMP release stated that two search warrants were executed on a business and a vehicle in Yorkton on August 20 which yielded approximately 373 grams of cocaine, approximately 70 grams of fentanyl, approximately 544 grams of methamphetamine, a large sum of cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
22-year-old Chaitanya Parashar from Scarborough, ON was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of narcotics for the purposes of trafficking, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.
Parashar was scheduled to appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on August 21.
