Thousands of people from all across the world were at the Strathmore Ag Grounds over the weekend for the Medieval Faire & Artisan Market.
From traditional Gaelic dancing to medieval combat demonstrations, there was no shortage of attractions at the faire, which celebrated its second year of being hosted in Strathmore following the festival's move from Calgary.
Another fan-favourite event at the faire is the jousting tournament, which was canceled in 2023 due to the horses being too frightened. This year the jousting team put together efforts to make the event as stress-free as possible for the horses.
Other notable attractions included live-action role-playing, a Viking Village that showcased how Vikings lived over a thousand years ago, and a royal court feast featuring roast hog and brisket.
