The City of Grande Prairie will commence the Storm Outfall and 106 Avenue Rehabilitation Project at Muskoseepi Park on September 3. The project aims to upgrade stormwater, sanitary, and water infrastructure, beginning with the area east of the park's spillway and moving to 106 Avenue between 102 Street and west of 103 Street. Key activities include removing and replacing storm lines, repairing sanitary and water systems, and repaving roads and sidewalks.

Residents should anticipate minor detours around the work site, as well as temporary disruptions to pedestrian and vehicle access on 106 Avenue. Some service interruptions to water and sanitary systems may also occur. "This project is a significant step in improving our city's infrastructure," says Mayor Jackie Clayton, emphasizing the importance of community patience and cooperation during these necessary improvements.
