Visitors are invited to play, skate and swim across three City facilities to celebrate Alberta Day on Saturday, August 31.

The City is offering free facility access to the Eastlink Centre, Activity & Reception Centre and hosting a public skate, including a skate with the Grande Prairie Storm, at Bonnetts Energy Centre to commemorate Alberta’s 119 anniversary.

Residents are also invited to visit the Grande Prairie Museum and Reverend Forbes Homestead, where admission is always free, to learn more about the history of the Grande Prairie region.

Hours for free facility access at each location are listed below:

·Eastlink Centre from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

·Activity & Reception Centre from 11 a.m.to 3 p.m.

·Bonnetts Energy Centre public skate from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with Grande Prairie Storm joining at 11 a.m.

·Grande Prairie Museum from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

·Reverend Forbes Homestead from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
