McDonald’s Canada is proud to announce that Jayson Deato, manager of the McDonald’s restaurant in Grande Prairie, has been honored with a prestigious Ray Kroc Award. This global recognition is awarded to only the top one percent of McDonald’s restaurant managers worldwide and includes a cash prize and a trophy. Jayson began his career at McDonald’s 21 years ago in the Philippines as a crew member working on the grill and has been the restaurant manager in Grande Prairie since 2014. He expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, crediting his crew as his “second family” and attributing his success to their hard work, dedication, and passion for delivering the best guest experience.

The Ray Kroc Award, given every two years, celebrates McDonald’s managers who demonstrate superior performance and exceptional customer service. Fred Dodd, Franchisee of the Grande Prairie McDonald’s, praised Jayson for his growth in leadership and commitment to excellence, noting that his achievement reflects the company’s dedication to fostering talent from within .

“Since joining the McDonald’s team, we’ve watched as Jayson gradually built his leadership skills, work ethic and duty to our customers to help make our Grande Prairie restaurant the best it can be,” said Fred Dodd, Franchisee of the Grande Prairie McDonald’s. “We’re so proud of his achievement and we know that the sky is the limit for Jayson.”
