Answer me this- how much of your gear has seen the turn of the century?

Novid Inc. in Rosenort is in the business of making things that last. Firstly, they build quality stainless steel fertilizer and chemical tanks. Secondly, they view each and every employee in their care as an opportunity for investment.

Jenn Rzesnoski is the director of People, Culture & Safety at Novid Inc., which is a fancy way of saying she runs the HR department. Having been with the company for many years, she states that the main pillars of this business are longevity and family.

“Novid started as two brothers who wanted to find a solution for long term storage. They built their first ever tank at their ag retail shop in Rosenort in 2002, and it grew from there. Some of the very first tanks that were built back then are still being used today.”

Novid’s main product line is flat bottom liquid fertilizer tanks, some measuring as large as 18’ wide and 55’ tall. Smaller products include dry fertilizer hopper bottoms, and cone bottom chemical tanks. As of 2024, Novid Inc. has tanks in British Columbia all the way to Prince Edward Island, as well as in nearly all agricultural states across the border.

Rzesnoski emphasizes that the company’s commitment to longevity goes beyond their products, reaching into professional relationships, careers, and culture.

“We try our best to keep our culture very family-oriented,” Rzesnoski shares. “Remaining small and family-focused is a challenge when you start growing your business, but that’s our goal. We celebrate birthdays, and host events that include not only staff, but their spouses and children. We also strive for a healthy work-life balance for employees. We promote safety, and want our employees going home in the same condition they arrived at work that day.”

Novid Inc. is currently looking to hire experienced welders.

“As our most recent expansion is underway, we’re looking to grow our evening shift. So our main focus right now is for experienced welders to join our team.” Rzesnoski continues. “Another role on our evening shift includes quality control”

Successful applicants must have a high school diploma and a minimum of one year of MIG welding experience for the welder and quality control positions. Beneficial personal characteristics include a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, being a team player, good organizational skills, and the ability to lift 50lbs. All positions include competitive salary, health benefits, and a pension plan. All necessary training will be provided, and starting wages depend on qualifications.

“We’re just looking for great, experienced people to join our team.”
