The Week 3 winners of the 2024 Harvest Edition of Meal in the Field were Brandon Arnst and his family from the Leroy/Jansen area.
Arnst said the family farm began operation with his grandpa during the 40’s. The terrain has evolved with the bush being removed over the years.
Along with his father, Brandon operates the farm with his sister and brother-in-law.
He said this year’s harvest is looking good right now.
“It’s slow and steady, we’re moving along, the weather has been nice, crops are coming in quickly.”
Arnst is expecting this year’s harvest to be completed in the next two to three weeks.
