Pharmasave in Steinbach is celebrating their second anniversary this month, and Scott Penner is honoring this milestone with store specials, giveaways, and draws.
“It’s just our way of saying thank you for your support," notes Owner Scott Penner.
Pharmasave officially opened their location in Steinbach’s Victoria Plaza on August 30th, 2022. Since then, Penner and his team have worked tirelessly to bring the best possible medicinal care to their customers, as well as supply their community with over-the-counter goods and support products.
Whether you’re a long time customer or have never set foot into their shop, all are welcome to attend Pharmasave’s Two Year Anniversary Celebration.
“You know what they say- time flies when you’re having fun,” Penner says. “We have a big party planned for September 12th and 13th. There’s three great grand prizes. We’ve expanded the M&M Food Market freezer section. There will be snacks, giveaways, and the first 50 customers in each day get a free gift. Just lots going on.”
Refreshments will be served daily from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Sales include 30% off all Pharmasave brand products, 15% off regular priced M&M products, and a chance to win your purchase or a $100 M&M Food Market gift card. Additionally, as of September 10th, 2024, Pharmasave shoppers will be able to collect Air Miles.
“Two years have gone by,” Penner shares. “And it’s just very gratifying to have an idea go from being a kernel of an idea in to a full blown pharmacy.”
Penner is quick to attribute the success of the business to the clients that have made Pharmasave their pharmacy of choice, as well as to his staff.
“It’s gratifying to see. Again, I use the word gratifying because I’m so thankful for the level of support that we’ve received. Customers have really latched on to the type of services that we provide.”
Pharmasave in Steinbach is open weekdays from 9:00am to 8:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Sunday from noon to 5:00pm. Services include local delivery, texting, and the eCare@Pharmasave app, allowing clients to manage prescriptions virtually.
Additionally, Pharmasave is currently in the process of hiring another pharmacist. The job includes collaborating with healthcare professionals, dispensing medication, counseling patients, and ensuring that all work practices comply with industry standards and regulations. The hours are full-time and include benefits.
