Rob Carnie: Let's talk about this. This is something new. It's a no reentry policy at the Moose Jaw Events Centre for Moose Jaw Warriors games. Tell us how this came about.

Maryse Carmichael: Yes, the season is starting really, really soon. I was just at the Event Centre yesterday for a hockey practice. So, we're back in the in the new season, there's a few changes at the Event Center.

One of which is, as you mentioned, a no reentry (policy). It's not new to the Events Centre. We did that last year for four of the big concerts that we had, it is best practice amongst a lot of the venues across North America, the no reentry (policy) is making the area safer, making the work of our security guards a little bit better, managed to ensure that they look at the areas that really need their attention during the game.

So of course, we will entertain any exceptions. If you have an issue, especially a medical issue like we had during one of the concerts last year, if you've forgotten medication, if you have to run your child to practice or pick them up from the grandparents, absolutely, you can talk to the security agents. But as a general rule: no reentry for our games.

Just like we already have with the Pats in Regina and in Saskatoon, it is a normal security precaution.

Rob: Yeah, and it started many years ago in arenas across North America. But what will the smokers do?

Maryse: Well, you know, smoke before. Think about it and head of time and when you think about it, the games are just over 2 hours, 2 1/2 hours depending on the length of time.

I think it's important, it is a community arena, it is for our families, we want to ensure it's as safe as possible.

On that note, about the Events Centre, (there are) a couple reminders; there are a few cashless locations for people when they are at the Events Centre, by making it faster, we're trying to always improve the service at the Events Centre.

When you want to have refreshments between periods, or you want to have something to eat. Some of the concessions that are cashless just to remind everyone: the Saskatchewan Spirits bar, Tap 105, 116, The Doghouse, they are all cashless.

There are a few changes during the box office hours, noon until 4 For Tuesday through Friday, and of course, on game days it's different, with the Warriors, noon till 8:00 PM. So, we want to make sure that everyone gets in the game and if they have an issue, they can go to the box office.
