Esther Rempel-Harms, 94, of Steinbach passed away Monday, September 9th at Bethesda Regional Health Centre. She is survived by her husband Cornelius, 1 daughter, 1 son, 1 sister, 1 brother, and their families. She was predeceased by her first husband Jacob Peter Rempel, 1 sister, and 2 brothers.
A celebration of life for Esther Rempel-Harms will be held Tuesday, September 17th at 11am at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with private family interment prior to the service at Heritage Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church Missions Fund.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Esther Rempel-Harms. She passed away Sept.
9th at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach at the age of 94 years.
Esther leaves to cherish her memory her second husband, Cornelius Harms of Steinbach, Esther’s
children Wendy (Keith) Inscho of Morden, MB, their children Aimee (Clayton) Kroeker (their children
Avery and Kelsey) and Ranee (Greg, his daughters Emily and Mary and grandson Leo) Nilsson (their
children Zoey and Gabriel); Doug (Marcie) Rempel of Steinbach, MB their children Karla Rempel, David
(Erica) Rempel and Andrew (Amanda) Rempel (their children Natalie and Selah). She is survived by 1
brother, and 1 sister. She was predeceased by her first husband (of 58 years) Jacob Peter Rempel, her
parents Jake and Lydia Meisner of Nokomis, Sk., 2 brothers and 1 sister.
The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and staff that helped to make her life better
through her times of cancer and end of life care.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach, MB on Tuesday,
Sept. 17 at 11:00 a.m. with a private family internment at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB prior to the
service.
