Wadena Conservation Officers are looking for the public’s help in determining who is responsible for an act of poaching near Fishing Lake.
On Sunday, September 8, Wadena Conservation Officers received a TIPP call reporting that a bull moose had been unlawfully harvested on private land without permission two miles west of Leslie Beach Regional Park. The hunter(s) used an ATV to drag the moose across a field with canola swaths, causing significant crop damage to the farmer’s field. The moose was believed to have been harvested in the early morning hours of Friday, September 6.
Wadena Conservation Officers are requesting any information from the public that may aid in the apprehension of these individuals.
