Rebecca St. James and her husband, Cubbie are sharing the ups and downs of their lives and their relationship in a new book set to be released in early 2025.
Lasting Ever: Faith, Music, Family & Being Found by True Love shares the heartaches and `triumphs that have shaped their story as a couple, parents and followers of Jesus.
"It's really exciting," said Rebecca in a video posted on social media. "We're really passionate about the topic of this book because we feel that people need encouragement in marriage, parenting and faith. There is just a need for that."
The pair shares honest conversations about singlehood, marriage, the purity movement and life in the spotlight.
"We have felt some warfare in the process, as we know, the enemy does not like the things we’re saying in it!" said St. James. "Prayers are appreciated."
Cubbie says during the writing process he felt prompted to speak honestly about both the highs and the lows.
"I mean if we remain silent, it continues to give the enemy the victory. So being able to speak openly, honestly and vulnerably about those hard things, I hope that it would shed light on the healing power that Christ has."
