Strathmore’s skies light up: residents capture breathtaking pictures

It was a beautiful weekend in Strathmore as residents captured pictures of the stunning northern lights.

The lights showed up during the early morning hours on Saturday (Sept. 14) and came out again in the early morning on Sunday (Sept. 15).

If you missed the display this weekend, they'll hit the sky and be visible after sunset on Tuesday morning (Sept. 17).

The aurora borealis is typically green, but you can also see bits of yellow, blue, red, pink, and purple hues.
