Construction on Range Road 53 begins tomorrow

Construction on Range Road 53 750 meters north of Township Road 714 to City of Grande Prairie limit, is set to start September 17, 2024.

The project is expected to be completed October 31, 2024, weather dependent.  

Traffic may experience delays over the duration of the project. Speed will be reduced in the construction zones. Traffic may be reduced to a single alternating lane, be temporarily detoured or have rough non-gravel driving surfaces. Motorists are advised to obey all signs, flag persons, exercise extreme caution when travelling through the sites and near crews and equipment and allow extra time for travel.
