The R.M. of Stanley is reporting that many roads in the municipality have been damaged or have become impassable thanks to all of this rain.

Motorists are being urged to drive carefully as public works crews have not had a chance to mark each damaged area.
We are also being asked not to drive over a road where water is overtopping it. According to the Municipality, this causes increased erosion of the road and is dangerous.
Staff will be out today marking damaged and dangerous portions of roads and, if you see any that have been washed out and not yet marked, please call Ben at 204-362-8234 or call the administration office at 204-325-4101.
We are also asked to be aware of fast-moving water and to keep children away from creeks and other major drains.
