After years of prayer, planning, and transformation—both physical and spiritual—a new chapter begins for a southern Manitoba church this weekend.
Gospel Mission Church says it is excited to announce its official launch on November 24 at 10 a.m.
Brad Driedger, the campus pastor of Gospel Mission Morden, shared the vision behind the event.
Winkler Arts and Culture Farm to Table fundraiser, a hit with more to come
Winkler Arts and Culture held a four-course Farm-to-Table fundraising event this past Thursday, a style of fundraising they have not been able to do since the pandemic, according to Executive Director Jered Hildebrand.
Hildebrand shared his excitement about the evening, stating, “It’s wonderful to see so many people. We have two full tables of people that are here to help support us and our mission.”
The evening held a strong turnout, filling the 28 available seats, a promising sign for future fundraisers.

A municipality in southern Manitoba has found a new solution for improving rural road building.
The Rural Municipality of Stanley is located in the Pembina Valley, making up land surrounding Winkler and Morden. Public Works Supervisor Ken Thiessen says they have been implementing a relatively new process on one of their roads.
