The Saskatoon Police Service Collision Analyst Unit are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Monday night at the intersection of Highways 5 & 41.
At approximately 7:20 pm, Saskatoon Police were notified of the collision. The initial information received was that it was a collision involving a truck and an SUV.
Officers attended to the 54-year-old female driver who appeared to be suffering life-threatening injuries. The officers extracted the driver from the vehicle and CPR was conducted while waiting for paramedics to arrive.
The 54-year-old woman was transported to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the truck did not suffer any life-threatening injuries and did not wish to seek any further medical care.
The Collision Analyst Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstance of this collision.
